Relays & Timers
Small parts that fail often and get overlooked until they do — interposing relays, timers, and the plug-in modules that quietly run sequencing logic in a control panel.
Interposing Relay
Isolates a PLC's low-power output from the higher-power circuit it's switching. A burnt-out interposing relay is one of the most common reasons a PLC output 'does nothing' even though the logic is firing correctly.
View detailsTimer Relay (On-Delay)
Adds a deliberate delay into generator-start or pump sequencing logic. When a sequence runs out of order, this is usually the first component worth checking.
View detailsLatching Relay
Holds its switched state without continuous coil power — useful for alarm memory circuits, but it also means a stuck contact can leave a circuit energised long after the trigger's gone.
View detailsSolid State Relay (SSR)
No moving contacts, so it doesn't wear the way a mechanical relay does. It also tends to fail shorted-on instead of open, which changes how you troubleshoot the circuit it's in.
View detailsPlug-In Relay Module
The general-purpose relay scattered across almost every marine control panel — usually a quick swap once you've confirmed the socket base itself isn't the actual fault.
